Earthquake strikes Tibet region in Western China

A 5.1 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the Tibet Autonomous Region in western China, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The earthquake's epicentre was located 432 kilometres northwest of the Tibetan capital, Lhasa, with the tremors originating at a depth of 3 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports.
At this time, there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely, but no further details have been made available.
