East Zangezur’s transformation: Lachin-Kalbajar roadwork in full swing VIDEO

Azerbaijani construction company AzVirt successfully continues the construction of Lachin-Kalbajar road in East Zangezur.

The company has released footage of the road construction stages and its magnificent views, Caliber.Az reports.

The modern footage is accompanied by archive footage, which depicts road construction in Kalbajar 87 years ago - in 1938.

To recall, the length of Kalbajar-Lachin road is 76.3 km. Nine road bridges with a total length of 1,038 meters and 11 tunnels will be built on the road. Kalbajar-Lachin highway starts from Gamyshly village of Kalbajar district and passes through the territory of Lachin district.

The new road will provide comfortable entry and exit to many residential areas of these districts, as well as to the district center and access to the Lachin International Airport, which is under construction.
