Ebola risk in Kyrgyzstan remains low, Health Ministry says

The risk of the Ebola virus being imported into Kyrgyzstan is assessed as low, but the country’s Health Ministry is preparing the healthcare system for a potential biological threat.

The ministry noted that outbreaks of the disease have been recorded in two African countries, while no cases have been detected in Kyrgyzstan, according to foreign media.

Authorities are urging citizens to take the epidemiological situation into account when planning travel to Africa.
