11 April 2026 13:41
Officials from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are in Islamabad to indirectly facilitate talks between the United States and Iran, according to reports.
The Associated Press, citing officials who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the three Arab states are engaged in efforts to support the indirect diplomatic channel between Washington and Tehran.
Separately, it had earlier been reported that a Chinese delegation is expected to arrive in Islamabad on April 11 to back Pakistan’s role as a mediator in the negotiations between the United States and Iran.
