Egypt slams Israel's actions in Gaza Doubting commitment to ceasefire
Egypt's Foreign Ministry has expressed skepticism about Israel's readiness to end the ongoing armed conflict in the Gaza Strip, citing its recent military actions, including a strike on a school in the region.
The Ministry criticized Israel for its continued attacks on civilians, stating that such actions undermine efforts by mediators working towards a ceasefire, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
They highlighted that these repeated incidents indicate a lack of genuine political will on Israel's part to cease hostilities. Additionally, Egypt condemned the strikes and called for a unified international response to ensure the security of Palestinians in Gaza.
Despite the challenges, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry reiterated its commitment to pursuing all necessary diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire agreement in the region.
