A charter plane carrying eight people crashed on August 20 near a remote radar station in western Alaska, with no information on survivors available so far.
The twin-engine Cessna 441, operated by Security Aviation, was flying from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to Cape Newnham when it crashed west of Cape Newnham Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), foreign media reports.
The aircraft had two pilots and six passengers on board. Preliminary information indicates the plane crashed early on the afternoon of August 20 before reaching the airfield.
