Elon Musk claims his son is "dead", blames "woke mind virus"

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has asserted that his estranged transgender child was "destroyed" by what he describes as the "woke mind virus," following his involvement in approving gender-affirming care procedures.

In a recent interview with psychologist and conservative commentator Dr. Jordan Peterson, Musk criticized gender-reassignment surgery, calling it "child mutilation and sterilization", Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

During the conversation, Musk discussed his 20-year-old child, Vivian Jenna Wilson, who he claims underwent these procedures during the pandemic. Musk revealed that he was misled into signing documents related to these treatments for his child, whom he referred to by their former name, or "dead name."

Musk explained that his decision was made under duress, amid confusion and the threat of his child potentially committing suicide. He described the situation as a result of being "tricked" into agreeing to the procedures and expressed strong opposition to the practice, echoing Peterson's view that those who support it should face legal consequences.

The SpaceX founder lamented the loss of his child, stating, "They call it 'deadnaming' for a reason. The reason they call it 'deadnaming' is because your son is dead."

Musk said this experience motivated him to combat what he sees as the "woke mind virus," a crusade he claims is showing progress.
