Elon Musk pokes fun at UK purchase rumours in Austin Powers video VIDEO
Elon Musk has poked fun at rumours that he could buy the United Kingdom in a video posted on X.
In the AI-generated clip, Musk appears as the spy-comedy character Austin Powers, running from crowds of female fans and dancing with local residents, Caliber.Az reports.
The video features captions referring to him as “world’s richest man” and “man who bought the United Kingdom.”
I’m not sure who made this.

It also includes products from Musk’s companies, including Optimus robots and an autonomous Cybertruck painted in the colours of the British flag.
The video was prompted by a satirical Babylon Bee report claiming that Musk was buying the UK to restore freedom of speech and allow the free exchange of memes.
Musk responded to the report with a brief question: “How much?” — the same phrase he used in 2017 when discussing the purchase of what was then Twitter.
