US envoy: Israel and Lebanon want Iran out of region
On June 4, Israel's ambassador to the United States, Yechiel (Michael) Leiter, said that Israel and Lebanon share a common interest in reducing Iran's influence in the region, following recent developments involving the two neighbouring countries.
In a statement posted on X, cited by Caliber.Az, Leiter said that the latest outcome underscored a shared desire by both nations to limit Tehran's role in regional affairs.
