Epstein records bring back former banker’s allegations of occult child killings
The latest release of documents linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has revived attention around a 2017 interview with former Dutch banker Ronald Bernard, in which he made extraordinary claims about ritualistic child sacrifices allegedly practised among powerful figures in the global financial elite.
According to foreign media, in the interview with Netherlands-based DVM TV, Bernard said he had been in contact with individuals at the highest levels of the financial world who, according to him, followed what he described as “Luciferian” beliefs.
“You can say, religion is a fairy tale, God doesn’t exist, none of that is real. Well, for these people, it is truth and reality, and they served something immaterial, what they called Lucifer,” Bernard said.
He also claimed that he visited places referred to as “Churches of Satan,” where ceremonies resembling Holy Mass were held with “naked women and liquor,” adding that he was initially “far from convinced if any of this was real.”
“But then at some point, I was invited, which is why I’m telling you all this, to participate in sacrifices abroad. That was the breaking point. Children,” Bernard said.
When asked directly whether he had been requested to take part in the killing of children, Bernard confirmed it, stating that he refused.
“Unfortunately the truth is, that worldwide they have been doing this for thousands of years,” he added.
The resurfaced interview has gained renewed attention following the latest batch of Epstein-related files released last week by the US Justice Department, which references several prominent individuals.
Epstein was found dead in his jail cell in New York City in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. In 2008, he pleaded guilty in a Florida court and was convicted of procuring a minor for prostitution — a case critics have described as a “sweetheart deal” due to the relatively light punishment.
Multiple victims have alleged that Epstein operated an extensive sex trafficking network involving members of the wealthy and politically powerful elite.
