Erdoğan condemns attacks on commercial vessels in Black Sea

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has condemned recent attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea, stressing that such incidents are unacceptable regardless of who is responsible.

“The recent attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea are unacceptable, regardless of who is responsible for them,” Erdoğan said during his address to the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

He said Türkiye continues to engage with the parties involved to restore the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, safeguard food security and prevent the conflict from spreading to a wider geographical area.
