Erdogan plans to arrange meeting between Putin, Zelenskyy

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he intends to organise a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine - Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Erdogan made the statement following a meeting of the Turkish Cabinet of Ministers on August 22, according to Haber Global.
The president noted that Türkiye is striving for a peaceful resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
“Our goal is to fundamentally resolve this crisis by organising a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy in Istanbul soon,” Erdogan added.
