Estonia notifies population about possible mobilisation of offroader vehicles

The Estonian authorities have begun sending preliminary orders to owners of SUVs (sport utility vehicles) on the mandatory use of their vehicles.

The Estonian Defence Resources Agency notified the SUV owners that if martial law is declared, their cars will need to be handed over to the country's defence forces, according to Eesti Ekspress.

This applies to cars in the N1G category, such as Toyota Hilux, BMW X5 and X6, Porsche Cayenne and Toyota Land Cruiser.
