EU accession talks dominate Zelenskyy-Costa meeting in Yerevan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with European Council President António Costa on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan to discuss Ukraine’s EU integration process.

“We are counting on the opening of all six negotiation clusters during this and next month. Technically, Ukraine is fully ready. I thank António for his support and personal efforts in unblocking the €90 billion financial support package. It is important that the funds start arriving as soon as possible and help Ukraine prepare for the winter,” the Ukrainian leader said on Telegram.

Zelenskyy also held meetings with the Prime Ministers of Canada and Poland during the summit.
