EU diplomat: Ending conflict in Ukraine almost impossible

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that the end of the Ukrainian conflict is almost impossible after the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporozhizhia and Kherson regions, join Russia.

His remarks came in an interview with the Spanish TV channel 24 Horas on October 1, reports TASS.

According to Borrell, no country recognizes "the annexation of these territories."

The head of EU diplomacy believes that as a result of this decision by Moscow, the end of the conflict over Ukraine becomes "practically impossible."
