EU imposes sanctions on two Azerbaijani citizens

The European Union has added two Azerbaijani citizens to its sanctions list, the EU Council announced in a resolution published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The individuals targeted are Talat Safarov and Etibar Eyyub, both businessmen, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media. 

The move follows similar action by the United Kingdom, which added Safarov and Eyyub to its sanctions list in May.
