EU naval mission escorts merchant vessel safely through Red Sea
The European Union's naval mission in the Red Sea, EUNAVFOR ASPIDES, said an Italian warship had successfully escorted a merchant vessel through the waterway, underscoring the operation's role in protecting commercial shipping.
In a post on X, the mission said the merchant ship completed its transit safely under the protection of the Italian frigate BERGAMINI, Caliber.Az reports.
