EU's Aspides mission advises some ships to avoid Red Sea Over Houthi threats

The European Union's naval mission Aspides has advised vessels linked to the United States, Israel or Saudi Arabia to avoid transiting the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden due to an increased risk of attacks by Yemen's Houthi movement.

According to French media, the mission said the vessels are considered to be at heightened risk and recommended they refrain from using the two key shipping routes.
