EU sees no sense in talking with Russia

European Commission Spokesperson Peter Stano has said that it would be “pointless” for the EU countries to meet with the Russian authorities.

“I can only recall that there is an understanding in the EU that at present it makes no sense to engage with Russia at the EU level or bilaterally,” TASS quotes him as saying.

Stano noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not interested in peace.
