EU transfers €4.2 billion to Ukraine

Brussels has allocated nearly €4.2 billion to Kyiv as part of its ongoing financial aid package from the EU's Ukraine Facility.

This disbursement is part of a broader €50 billion program set to extend through the end of 2027. The European Commission announced this development in a statement, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

"Today, on August 13, the European Commission transferred almost €4.2 billion to Ukraine from EU's Ukraine Facility. This brings the total amount disbursed from the fund since the beginning of 2024 to €12 billion," the Commission stated.
