Von der Leyen hails EU’s approval of €90 billion loan for Ukraine
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen welcomed the swift approval of a proposal to provide Ukraine with an additional €90 billion loan.
“I welcome the European Parliament's speedy adoption of our proposal for an additional €90 billion loan for Ukraine,” she wrote on her social media account, Caliber.Az reports.

She added that Ukraine's courage was unshakable and that Europe's resolve to stand by its side was equally strong.
Earlier, on February 11, the European Parliament gave the green light for the loan, which will be used to finance government needs, rebuild infrastructure, and develop key sectors of Ukraine’s economy.
