Exchange prices for gas in Europe down by 5%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe on September 21 morning decreased by almost five per cent to approximately $393 per 1,000 cubic metres.

October TTF futures (Europe's biggest hub located in the Netherlands) were traded at $390.4 (-5.4 per cent) per 1,000 cubic metres. As of September 21, their price is $392.5 (-4.9 per cent).

The dynamics of quotes are based on the settlement price of the previous trading day - $412.5 per 1,000 cubic metres, Prime reports citing the data from the London ICE exchange.
