An explosion occurred early hours of March 9 at around 4:00 a.m. local time in front of a synagogue in the eastern Belgian city of Liège, local police said.
There were no casualties, but the blast shattered windows of nearby buildings and caused material damage, Ynet reports.
The background to the explosion remains unclear. The mayor of Liège condemned the incident, describing it as a “criminal and anti-Semitic” act.
