Explosion rocks medical centre in Baku, injuries reported PHOTO

A powerful explosion has occurred at the National Center of Oncology located near the “20 January” metro station in the Yasamal district of Baku.

Eyewitnesses told Caliber.Az that the blast took place on the first floor of the building, leaving three people injured, including Dr. Asif Nasirli from the radiology department.

Local media reports also claimed that one person was killed during the incident.

Police and prosecutors were immediately dispatched to the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the explosion.
