Explosions hit Russia's biggest air base in Crimea VIDEO
The explosions were heard in Crimea at the Russian biggest airbase Belbek located in northwestern Sevastopol on the evening of August 18.
Eyewitnesses heard explosions in the Belbek airfield, UNIAN reports referring to the local Telegram channels.
Later, a brigade of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations went there.
In a while, video footage allegedly from Belbek went viral. A fire, the sounds of explosions and an air raid signal are obvious in the video footage.
According to the local information, explosions were heard again at the Belbek airfield. There is still fire. The Russian authorities have not yet commented on the explosions.
The so-called “governor” of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev said that a drone was allegedly shot down over Belbek.
“There are no injured or victims,” the Russian Telegram channel “Before everyone. Almost" reports referring to Razvozhaev.
