EXPO Central Asia 2026 opens in Samarkand with participation from over 100 countries
EXPO Central Asia 2026 has opened in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, bringing together participants from more than 100 countries, organisers said.
The event features 68 pavilions showcasing eco-friendly products and services, alongside 20 start-up platforms where environmental innovators from across Central Asia are presenting new technologies and projects, Caliber.Az reports via Uzbek media.
A wide-ranging programme of forums and thematic sessions is being held during the exhibition, focusing on green energy, waste management, water resource governance, climate adaptation and broader sustainability challenges.
Organisers expect the exhibition to attract around 10,000 industry professionals, underscoring growing regional interest in environmental innovation and sustainable development initiatives.
