Fars: Tehran yet to approve US framework deal to end war

Tehran has not made a final decision on a proposed framework agreement aimed at ending the US-Israeli war on Iran, the Fars news agency reports, citing an informed source.

A review of the memorandum of understanding’s political, legal, and technical aspects is still ongoing at expert and decision-making levels, the report added.

US and Pakistani officials have forecast the signing of a long-anticipated preliminary deal on June 14 to end months of hostilities, although Tehran has questioned the timing.

US President Donald Trump said on June 13 that the agreement is expected to be signed on Sunday, June 14, which coincides with his 80th birthday.
