FBI director warns of terror threats against Americans inspired by Hamas' attack
FBI Director Chris Wray has cautioned the US Congress that the United States could be at risk from potential threats posed by individuals or small groups inspired by Hamas's recent actions in its conflict with Israel.
Although Hamas itself is believed to lack operational capabilities within the US, Wray pointed out that there is a possibility of actors, possibly radicalized individuals, conducting "lone wolf" style attacks similar to what has been seen in the past with ISIS, as reported by CBS News.
The Head of the Investigative Bureau also mentioned concerns about cyberattacks from Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as calls for attacks on the US by ISIS and al-Qaeda.
Intelligence assessments indicate that individuals inspired by or reacting to the Israel-Hamas conflict represent the most likely threat to Americans, particularly within Jewish, Muslim, and Arab communities in the United States.
Caliber.Az recalls, that since the October 7 atrocities in Israel, a Palestinian child had been stabbed to death in the USA by the family's landlord following an argument with his mother over the Palestine-Israel conflict.
