FBI launches investigation after spotting hunting tower near Trump’s plane PHOTO
The U.S. Secret Service has discovered a suspicious hunting tower within direct line of sight of the area where President Donald Trump exits Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport.
According to Fox News, the FBI has launched an investigation into the incident.
“No individuals were found at the scene. The FBI has since taken over the investigation,” said agency director Kash Patel.
A law enforcement source told the network that the tower may have been erected several months ago.
The incident occurred just weeks after Ryan Routh was found guilty of attempting to assassinate Trump by sniper fire from a hideout on a Palm Beach golf course, Fox News recalled. The Secret Service emphasised that the president’s movements were not affected in any way.
