Festival shooting in Canada leaves two dead, six others wounded
Two people were killed and six others suffered gunshot wounds after a shooting in Toronto, Canada, according to a statement released by city police on X.
The incident occurred at the intersection of St. Clair Avenue West and Arlington Avenue. The area has been cordoned off as police conduct an investigation. The suspect remains at large.

The shooting broke out during a salsa festival taking place in the neighborhood, one of Canada’s largest celebrations of Latin American culture, CP24 reported.
Multiple police units and emergency responders were deployed to the scene.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the circumstances surrounding the shooting or a possible motive. Information on the condition of the injured victims is still being clarified.
