Fico's сondition stable, Deputy PM says

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who is hospitalized in Banska Bystrica (Western Slovakia) following an assassination attempt, is in stable condition.

According to TASS, this update was provided by the country's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Robert Kaliniak.

"In the morning, the prime minister's condition was stable," Kaliniak stated.

Despite this, Kaliniak emphasized that Fico's condition, due to gunshot wounds, remains very serious.

"His transport to Bratislava is definitely not under consideration at this time," the deputy prime minister added. He mentioned having a conversation with Fico but noted that it was personal and he would not disclose its content.
