Finnish PM says Ukrainian drones entered airspace accidentally

Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has stated that Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that entered Finland’s airspace on May 3 did so accidentally.

Orpo discussed the incident during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stressing that violations of air borders are unacceptable, even when linked to defensive purposes, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“I repeat to Finns: no one directed these drones to Finland. These are drones that simply flew into Finland,” the prime minister said.
