Billström has not revealed the details of the conversation yet.
After a meeting with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto on March 17, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Ankara would ratify the protocol on its entry into NATO - separately from Sweden. On the same evening, the protocol was submitted to the Turkish parliament.
