Russian missile strike injures two in Ukraine’s Sumy region

A Russian missile strike in the Seredyno-Buda community of Ukraine’s Sumy region injured a seven-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man on August 13.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said the child was hospitalised with injuries sustained in the explosion, Caliber.Az reports.

Medical staff said her condition is stable and there is no threat to her life. 

The man received treatment for minor injuries and is recovering on an outpatient basis.

Preliminary reports suggest that around six private houses and several vehicles were damaged in the strike.

Ukrainian authorities have condemned the attack, which comes amid ongoing hostilities in the region.
