Fire after highway collision triggers LNG tanker explosion in Italy video
A road accident at a fuel station in the Italian city of Teano led to the explosion of a tanker carrying liquefied natural gas (LNG).
According to local emergency services, cited by Caliber.Az, the incident occurred after a collision involving heavy vehicles on the A1 highway. The crash triggered a fire, which was followed by the explosion of the LNG tanker, firefighters said in an official statement.
As a result of the explosion, the affected stretch of the roadway was temporarily closed to traffic. At this stage, there have been no reports of injuries or fatalities.
Local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the incident.
