Fire breaks out at Iranian embassy in Hague, one person hospitalized

A fire erupted at the Iranian Embassy in The Hague, prompting an evacuation of embassy staff.

One individual required medical attention for smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.

The blaze, which originated on the roof of the building, triggered swift action from emergency services. As a precaution, nearby students at a local gymnasium were evacuated, though no injuries have been reported from the area.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire, and fire crews remain on-site working to contain the situation. Due to the intensity of the smoke, local residents have been advised to keep windows and doors closed and to turn off their ventilation systems.
