Fire breaks out at Polish drone manufacturer’s factory

A fire broke out at a WB Electronics facility in Poland that produces components for drones used by the Polish and Ukrainian armies.

Officials said the fire started overnight from August 30 to 31 at the company’s plant in Skarżysko-Kamienna, and at around 12:23 a.m., an intrusion alarm was triggered, after which a security company operator called police, Caliber.Az reports, citing Polish media.

Surveillance cameras captured an unidentified person wearing a balaclava who allegedly climbed over the facility’s fence.

According to Police spokesperson Anna Sławińska, arson had not been ruled out.
