Fire breaks out near Kyiv following drone attack VIDEO

A large fire has broken out in the Brovary area near Kyiv following an attack, with preliminary reports suggesting it may have been caused by falling debris after air-defence operations or a direct strike.

An impact was also reported in Kyiv near the Victoria Gardens (“Karavan”) shopping and entertainment centre.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a drone had fallen in the Obolon district.

“A drone fell on the territory of a non-residential area in the capital’s Obolon district,” Klitschko said.

Authorities are currently assessing the situation, while information on possible damage and casualties is being clarified.
