Fires force shutdown at Abu Dhabi’s Borouge petrochemical plant

Operations at Abu Dhabi’s Borouge petrochemical plant have been temporarily halted following several fires caused by falling debris from intercepted aerial targets, the Abu Dhabi government’s press office announced.

Operations at the facility remain suspended as authorities assess the damage. No injuries have been reported, and officials promise updates as the situation evolves, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

Authorities have urged the public to follow only official sources and avoid spreading unverified reports or rumours.
