First group of Azerbaijani pilgrims sets off for Hajj

The first contingent of Azerbaijani pilgrims has set off for the Hajj pilgrimage.

180 pilgrims traveled to Mecca from Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Azerbaijan has been assigned a quota of 1,500 pilgrims this year, with the pilgrimage costing $6,100 per person. Eid al-Adha in Azerbaijan will be observed on May 27–28.
