Five killed in wave of attacks across Donetsk region PHOTO
Five people were killed and three others injured in a series of attacks across Ukraine’s Donetsk region, according to regional governor Vadym Filashkin.
Providing a detailed account of the damage, Filashkin said multiple towns and communities came under fire over the course of the day.
“In Dobropillia, an administrative building was damaged. In Maiaky of the Sviatohirsk community, a private house was destroyed. In Mykolaivka, 5 people were killed and 2 injured; 5 private houses, 3 apartment buildings, and 3 administrative buildings were damaged. In Sloviansk, a private house was damaged. In Bilenke of the Kramatorsk community, one person was injured. In Novodonetske, an administrative building was damaged. In Znamenivka of the Oleksandrivka community, a car was damaged. In Druzhkivka, a private house was damaged. In Reznykivka and Sviato-Pokrovske of the Siversk community, private houses were damaged. In total, over the day, Russian forces shelled populated areas of the Donetsk region 18 times,” Filashkin reported.
