Five missing after mudslide hits China’s Sichuan province

Five people are missing after a mudslide hit southwest China’s Sichuan province early on September 19, local authorities said.

The mudslide occurred near the Shijiagou Tunnel in Yanbian County, Panzhihua City, Caliber.Az reports via Chinese media.

The provincial emergency management department has sent a working team to the scene to guide rescue efforts.

Relief operations are underway.
