Flights resume as UAE lifts temporary restrictions
Air traffic in the United Arab Emirates is returning to normal operations after authorities lifted temporary precautionary measures introduced amid recent instability, the country’s General Civil Aviation Authority said on Tuesday, March 17.
According to WAM, citing an official statement, the decision followed a comprehensive assessment of operational and safety conditions and was made in coordination with relevant authorities.
The regulator emphasised that continuous real-time monitoring of the airspace remains in effect to ensure the highest standards of safety in air traffic management.
The General Civil Aviation Authority also thanked passengers and airlines for their cooperation during the disruption period and confirmed that its technical and operational teams are fully prepared to respond to any potential changes in the situation.
The authority urged the public to rely on official sources for updates.
