FM: America-linked facility hit in Russian missile strike on Ukraine Photo
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on X that a major American electronics manufacturer in western Ukraine was hit in a massive overnight Russian missile attack, causing significant damage and casualties.
According to Sybiha, hundreds of drones, hypersonic, ballistic, and cruise missiles targeted civilian and energy infrastructure across the country, Caliber.Az reports.
Ukrainian authorities stressed that the facility is entirely civilian and has no military connection.
“This is not the first attack on American businesses in Ukraine,” Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, said, pointing to earlier strikes on Boeing offices in Kyiv and other sites.
“There is no military logic or necessity — only terror against people, businesses, and normal life in our country.”
Sybiha called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia to end the war, highlighting Ukraine’s willingness to pursue diplomacy.
“Meetings of leaders in bilateral Ukraine-Russia and trilateral Ukraine-U.S.-Russia formats are crucial,” he said.
He also underlined the need for strong security guarantees from partners, including the U.S. and European allies, and the urgent reinforcement of Ukraine’s air defences to counter further attacks.
