FM: Hungary to continue to issue Schengen visas to Russians

Hungary does not plan to stop issuing Schengen visas to Russians, including multiple entries.

This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó in an interview with TASS.

“The decision that we should stop issuing Schengen visas to Russians was not taken,” the Hungarian Foreign Minister said.

According to Szijjártó , there is a clear methodology on how to issue visas to tourists from countries with which there is no visa facilitation agreement. In this case, the process takes longer than when such an agreement exists. But in the absence of such a document, this does not mean that the country cannot issue visas.
