FM: Israel awaits Trump’s green light to "send Iran back to the Stone Age"

Israel is prepared to resume war against Iran and is awaiting a green light from Washington to “send the country back to the Stone Age,” Defence Minister Israel Katz has said.

In a video address, he expressed the intention “to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty, the initiator of the extermination plan against Israel", Caliber.Az reports, citing the Times of Israel.

He said this time, the attack would be different and lethal, delivering devastating blows to Iran’s most sensitive points, which would shake and collapse its foundations.

Meanwhile, US military officials are reportedly preparing new strike options targeting Iran’s capabilities around the Strait of Hormuz if the current ceasefire collapses.

Sources familiar with the planning said the proposed plans emphasise “dynamic targeting” of Iranian assets in the Strait of Hormuz, the southern Arabian Gulf, and the Gulf of Oman.

Potential targets include fast attack boats, minelaying vessels, and other asymmetric systems Tehran has used to effectively shut down key shipping lanes and exert pressure on the US.
