Former adviser: Russia, Ukraine must file joint lawsuit against West
Former adviser to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office Oleksiy Arestovych has said that Ukraine and Russia must make peace and file a joint lawsuit against the West.
“Ukraine and Russia must make peace and file a joint lawsuit against the West,” he told journalist Yulia Latynina, Myśl Polska reports.
He noted that Russia and Ukraine must stop the “bloody armed conflict that will claim many lives on both sides” and conclude a peace agreement.
“You must meet with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and tell him ‘Dear friend, let’s make peace’,” Arestovych said.
Former adviser said that Moscow and Kyiv should file a lawsuit against the West, because it has been pitting both countries against each other for many years. It is also necessary to build a new collective security system that will take into account the real interests of the two countries.
He emphasised that he sees no point in the ongoing battles between the Ukrainian and Russian armies for small settlements.
“What will Russia and Ukraine achieve? What have we achieved historically? Will our uncles from Brussels and Washington applaud us because two monkeys with razors are jumping on each other?” Arestovych added.
