Former Biden aide granted Russian passport PHOTO
A former aide to ex-US President Joe Biden, Tara Reade, has been granted Russian citizenship, according to Russian state media.
Reade received her Russian passport at a ceremony held at the National Centre “Russia” in Moscow.
Speaking at the event, she said she was proud to be living in Russia and of her work for the state-funded broadcaster RT.

Reade moved to Russia in the spring of 2023, saying at the time that she feared for her personal safety after receiving threats. In 2020, she accused Biden of sexual assault dating back to the period when he served as a US senator.
Biden has previously denied the allegations. Reade has said that following her claims, she faced pressure from US media outlets and government institutions.
She currently lives and works in Russia.
