Former head of Zelenskyy’s office reverses decision to join front lines PHOTO
Andriy Yermak, former head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, who had initially expressed willingness to volunteer for military service after resigning, has not applied to join Ukraine’s territorial centres.
According to a response from the Ministry of Defence to lawmaker Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Yermak has not registered with any territorial recruitment and social support centres to enlist, Caliber.Az reports.

“As of the time of reviewing the deputy’s inquiry, Ukrainian citizen Andriy Borysovych Yermak has not applied to any territorial recruitment and social support centre to serve voluntarily during mobilisation, for a special period, or under contract,” the ministry stated.
Earlier, speculation arose that Yermak’s offer to join the army might have been intended to avoid potential criminal liability. Currently, no charges have been filed against him, and therefore, there is no requirement for him to serve.
