Former Serbian president engages with Azerbaijan on urban planning initiatives PHOTO
Anar Guliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, has met with Boris Tadić, former President of Serbia and a member of the Board of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre (NGIC), to discuss urban planning initiatives.
The discussion centered on preparations for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to take place in Baku in May 2026. Particular emphasis was placed on the significance of the NGIC’s participation in the forum, Caliber.Az reports via the State Committee.
The meeting also provided a platform for exchanging views on the annual NGIC meeting, which is slated for January 15-16, 2026 in Geneva, as well as exploring potential collaborative initiatives within its framework. The State Committee underscored that preparations for WUF13 are progressing successfully.
